The Intake Assistant serves as an initial point of contact for new clients seeking legal representation for personal injury incidents. Responds to phone and internet inquiries from new clients regarding potential new cases.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls and online submissions to assist new clients seeking representation for personal injury cases. Obtains specific, relevant information from new clients and submits summary to attorneys for review.
- Types various forms, reports and related routine correspondences required as part of the intake process. Place follow up calls for new clients that have not responded to contact attempts. Calls rejected clients to inform them of decision. Document all activities regarding initial new client calls.
- Performs initial data entry, updates, and maintains electronic files including making appropriate entries into database.
- Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training, and accept responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships as requested.
- Adhere to agency policy, procedures, safety standards and the professional code of ethics.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
