Perfix Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to become a part of our team! Perfix is looking for workers in McMinnville, OR and the surrounding areas who are professional, proficient, efficient, and reliable to fill numerous work orders for our commercial clients. All applicants will be required to carry their own General Liability Insurance.

We are a preferred provider for our National Partners who utilize our hired contractors to work on many different projects for their commercial and retail clients. If you are looking to add another stream of income for yourself or your business, we would like to talk to you about this opportunity. We are currently in several states and maintain the facilities of both retail and commercial properties including Amazon Warehouses, Walgreens, UPS, FedEx, Ross Stores, Walmart, Sam's Clubs, Fergusons, Burlington Stores, and Tractor Supply to name a few. Serious applicants will have strong maintenance and repair skills, a professional manner and commitment to excellence, and the ability to transition from one type of job to another with ease.

Responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
• Must be able to accurately assess and price/bid jobs with necessary detail (labor, materials & required equipment, if applicable)
• Maintain a clean and a safe workspace
• Must own substantial set of maintenance person tools to complete projects such as: drywall repair/installation, light plumbing, light electrical, equipment repair, graffiti removal, painting, flooring, board-ups, pressure wash cleaning, and other misc. jobs.
• Must have reliable transportation (truck or van preferred) and a valid driver's license

Qualifications:

• 5 years previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification (GED)
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Familiarity with operating lift equipment and other heavy equipment is a plus
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to handle physical workload

Travel mileage reimbursement varies based on assessments. Details will be provided at the time of the interview. Dispatch will discuss work orders that best fit your determined skill set, availability, and geographic location/area and then may offer you work daily/weekly for your consideration and acceptance.

Qualified applicants must have the ability to communicate with customers and dispatch professionally and effectively, to accurately describe the suggested course of action, scope of work, required materials with pricing, necessary equipment, estimated time to complete the work and any additional special considerations needed to best fulfill the request. A "can-do" attitude that offers solutions to problems is expected.

We have demand for commercial and retail work for McMinnville and the surrounding areas and can provide work for contractors who prove to be competent, professional, available, and reliable. With a positive performance in the first 90 days of employment, opportunities for an increase in hourly pay will be considered. Holding a license in a particular discipline may also contribute to additional pay. Please discuss when applying.

Starting pay range of $25-33 per hour, depending upon experience. Biweekly pay schedule.
