In this position, you will oversee the entire allocated facility assigned including and not limited to sales, services, maintenance, staff management, the hiring and training of new employees/contractors/interns while maintaining relationships with current clients and your workload. You will be responsible for assembling location-specific standard operating procedures and increasing business growth, client relations, and sales. Applicant Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in the fitness, sports performance and or golf industry
  • Currently has a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field
  • Passionate about golf and golf fitness
  • Knowledge of multiple assessment protocols, including TPI
  • Must be able to assess client alignment and movement thoroughly and independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service centered
  • People-oriented and detail-oriented. Golf is all about the details
  • Channels their inner Nelly Korda with a consistent positive attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred CSCS (Eligible for reimbursement after 3 months within P4G)
  • Availability to work split shifts and one weekend day (Sat or Sun)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Business Operations: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Staff Management: Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising personal trainers, front desk staff, and other gym employees.
  • Financial Management: Managing the gym's budget, expenses, and revenue, and implementing strategies to improve profitability.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to gym members and addressing any member concerns or complaints.
  • Sales and Marketing: Developing and executing marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones. Monitoring membership sales and promotions.
  • Facility Maintenance: Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the gym equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Personal Training Programs: Collaborating with trainers to design effective personal training programs tailored to members' fitness goals and needs.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring the gym meets all health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe workout environment.
  • Member Engagement: Creating and organizing events, workshops, and challenges to engage gym members and promote community building.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conducting regular performance evaluations for staff members and providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Inventory Management: Managing gym supplies, equipment, and merchandise inventory, and ordering new items as needed.
  • Reporting: Providing regular reports to the gym owner or higher management on gym performance, financials, and member satisfaction.
  • Networking: Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, organizations, and fitness communities to promote the gym and create partnerships.

Nice to Haves:

  • A specific niche/knowledge base as it relates to the health and fitness industry (injury prevention, sports performance, etc.)
  • Understanding of Google Suite and social media
  • Writing skills will be especially helpful in crafting our brand

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
