Job Description:PCI is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for its Promatec operations based in Houston, Texas. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
The Warehouse Supervisor must oversee all warehouse functions in conjunction with receiving materials, stocking merchandise and filling customer orders.- Fills customer orders in accordance with a generated picking ticket or other document. Record items filled and omitted, if any. Notifies supervisor of order shortages.
- Prepares receiving reports and enters into computer after verifying correctness of incoming materials by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests or other records. Notes and resolves discrepancies and obvious damage.
- Ensures that all common carrier and U.P.S. orders are prepared for shipment. Contacts carrier for pick up as appropriate.
- Prepares purchase orders and places orders with the appropriate supplier to obtain inventory.
- Monitors purchase order status to ensure timely receipt of materials.

Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of construction warehouse experience.
- OSHA Certification.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with quality control.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
- Customer service skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- General knowledge of trade tools, equipment and materials used in the construction industry
