What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative clerk position at PermiaCare?
The Administrative Clerk performs all clerical / administrative activities for the Integrated Care Clinic / Bridges including answering telephones, scheduling appointments, taking messages, data entry, contacting mental health patients to notify of appointments, pulling chart records for staff, filing / scanning necessary forms into charts, performing benefits eligibility determinations, obtaining prior authorizations, posting payments / charges, and greeting patients as they arrive.
This position ensures proper patient flow from lobby to doctor to case manager. The Administrative Clerk creates new patient profiles in practice management system, ensure patient profile is updated as needed, collects payments, and maintain appropriate financial logs.
