POSITION SUMMARY
The duties of the Line Worker/Packer/Stacker/Cleaner include but are not limited to monitoring the production operations for the Prep Line, cleaning and removal of product waste, etc. in the production area, packing/stacking of finished product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Required to stand for long periods
- Frequently performs continuous repetitive hand motion
- Clean various production line and area
- Sweep/pick-up trash/scrap.
- Removal of trash.
- Responsible for proper cleaning and trash removal on an on-going basis.
- Certified in use of power equipment.
- Use of small to large hand cutting utensils (i.e., Knives, peelers)
- Use of hands for simple, firm grasping
- Occasionally to frequently pushing, pulling and walking
- Occasionally to frequently bending, stooping and reaching
- Occasionally to frequently carrying, lifting product 5 pounds to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lifting, carrying 50pound or more
- Exposure to temperature of 45 degrees or below
- Exposure to chemical such as chlorine, etc.
- Exposure to product fumes such as onions, pepper, etc.
- Works overtime as required
- Other duties as assigned.
- Constant exposure to temperature of 45 degrees or less
- Exposure to chemical such as chlorine, etc.
- Constant exposure to product fumes such as onions, pepper, etc.
- Use of small to large cutting utensils, (i.e. Knives, peelers)
- Follows safety policies/procedures.
- Works overtime as required
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- High School Education / G.E.D. preferred or applicable certification preferred
- A working knowledge of the English language preferred
- Basic Math skills preferred
- Working knowledge of basic produce standards, and customer fresh wrap specifications preferred
