Billings Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, customer service focused Billings Specialist to work in our dynamic fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the finance and sales teams, ensuring efficient processing of orders and accurate invoicing.

• Check billing details are accurate for all clients and ensure all customers are invoiced correctly and in a timely mannerProcess cancellations, refunds and adjustments requested by customers and internal stakeholders

• Take ownership and oversee the accurate workflow of our billing processes, working with multiple tools and systems
• Have a thorough understanding of all sales support systems used, including Stripe, Chargebee and Salesforce
• Responsible for internal and external queries on invoices, ensuring a respectful and open communication with all stakeholders
• Create and check excel reports to ensure accurate internal financial reporting of revenue
• Liaise with credit control and manage all issues raised from various Slack channels such as invoice queries, accounts on stop, and re-invoicing when required
• Be a proactive member of the team, including providing coverage and support for our Finance team
• Support future system changes/implementation
• Involvement in Special Projects and additional tasks as needed

• Proven experience in a billings function role; experience in a fast-paced and innovative company, in a busy office environment
• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications with intermediate to excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and spreadsheets
• Good analytical skills and a hands-on mentality to ensure accurate and reliable results
• Curiosity to investigate anomalies and tenacity to solve problems

The Interview Process:

Every role starts the same, an introductory call with someone from Perpetua. We will be looking for company and values-fit as well as your professional experience; there may be some technical role-specific questions during this call. 

Every role is different after the initial call, but you can expect to meet several people from the team 1:1 and there might be further skill assessments in the form of a Take Home Assignment/Case Study Presentation or Pair Programming/Live Coding exercise depending on the role. In your initial call, we will walk you through exactly what to expect the process to be.
