Description Overview
The E-PMO Project Manager will assist the Enterprise Program Management Office (E-PMO) in managing the strategic growth and cost savings initiatives across the organization. This value will be delivered through key growth strategies, savings objectives, and cost reductions within the E-PMO Analysts responsible programs.
The E-PMO Project Manager will work closely with the E-PMO Lead and E-PMO Project Managers to support overall growth and savings programs across key workstreams. This will entail tracking overall program performance against key financial and non-financial metrics and timelines, developing materials for Steering Committee meetings and other executive leadership status updates, recognizing and managing key interdependencies and risks across initiatives, creating standardized templates and change management methodologies for E-PMO Initiative Project Managers to implement across the program, creating consistent project management best practices to support day-to-day initiative project management, pushing progress of key initiatives that drive maximum value to the business, and providing administrative support to the E-PMO.

Scope of the Role
- Support E-PMO Program Lead with delivery of key program objectives
- Ensure transparency and integrity of impacts, leveraging HR, Finance, and other necessary shared service functions
- Track results across initiatives, assess potential risks, and identify mitigation measures
- Push progress of critical initiatives (in collaboration with E-PMO Initiative Project Managers)
- Support E-PMO Lead in preparing executive and board communications and updates
- Support project governance and ensure on-time deliverables from teams
- Engage deployed E-PMO Project Managers and initiative owners to reinforce collaboration
- Conduct coaching and review sessions with all deployed E-PMO Project Managers to ensure consistent application of methodology and quality of deliverables
- Adjust and enhance methodology, i.e., oversee development and drive quality in methodology deployment with ultimate decision-making residing with E-PMO Program Lead
- Monitor initiative portfolio with respect to investments, value delivered, and timelines
- Monitor and mitigate program risks to escalate issues to E-PMO Program Lead
- Provide guidance on how to resource key programs as a whole
- Support programplanning and budgeting
- Manage, organize, and coordinate regular E-PMO staff meetings
- Ensure critical interdependencies and significant risks are effectively managed
- Support E-PMO Program Lead and E-PMO Initiative Project Managers with issue resolution
- Bachelor’s degree
- Healthcare experience, either in the managed care or provider spaces
- Proven program and portfolio management skills
- Detailed understanding of leading project management frameworks and best practices
- Ability to work with incoming resources of varying levels of seniority from across the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly gather knowledge on new topics
- Ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills to build alignment between stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Strong analytical skills to extract important and relevant information
- Capable of creating high quality written materials for executive leadership audiences
- 5 years of experience in project management, management consulting, or similar field
