About the Role
Perry Ellis is searching for Sales Associates who can create an engaging shopping experience for our stylish customers. Responsibilities vary from; ensuring customer satisfaction, merchandising, replenishing of sales floor as well as maintaining the overall visual appearance of the store in order to achieve a high level of service and sales productivity.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles).
- Demonstrates product knowledge and fashion trends when speaking with customers to drive sales.
- Consistently productive throughout the entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish product, maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.).
- Consistently reports to work on time.
- Demonstrates flexibility with his/her schedule.
- Works with a sense of urgency.
- Exhibits professionalism during all interactions with customers, employees, and Managers.
- Consistently meets daily sales goals.
- Self motivated to drive and achieve sales
- Works cohesively with other staff members.
Requirements
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Retail experience
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Customer service-oriented (outgoing, friendly, and personable with a positive attitude)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) on the sales floor
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds
