What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Perry Pet Clinic, LLC?
Veterinary assistant/Veterinary Technician/Receptionist for a small animal clinic.
A friendly and positive attitude is a must. We would like to hire 1-2 additional assistants or technicians or 1 technician/assistant and 1 receptionist which could be part time and worked up to full time position. Both positions would be cross trained to help when needed.
Duties include: client communications, restraint, blood draws, in house lab testing, xrays, basic knowledge of veterinary clinic, monitor pets for surgery, computer work to input history from client, cleaning, etc.

Willing to train for the right individual. Must be available Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. In the future, may extend hours until 8 pm and possibly add 1 Saturday shift per month but this is not in the near future.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Employees and clients following guidelines of the cdc. When owner veterinarian is in the building, all are required to wear a mask to come into the building or work due to underlying health issues.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English (Required)
License/Certification:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
