Our client is one of Omaha’s leading business consulting firms with an emphasis on succession planning. They’re looking for an Insurance Support Specialist to support their lead Business Planning Advisor so they have more time to actually advise their own clients. This means you’ll get to wear many stylish, and mostly metaphorical, hats.
You’ll be charged with completing insurance illustrations under the tutelage of your supervisor, managing confidential financial and legal paperwork, supporting sales activity, collaborating with the wider office staff, and much, much more. Well, not too much. But enough to push your skill set higher so you can take on even greater responsibilities. Like dealing with clients directly. We know, right?
This job does take place in an actual office. Which may seem a little 2019, but everyone’s really sick of all Zoom all the time. The office itself is quite nice and full of even nicer people. As we’ve alluded to, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree and have a bit of real-world working experience – at the very least a decent internship.
You’ll grow rather quickly in this role, so if you’re hoping for something to get you by while you “figure out life and stuff,” this probably isn’t for you. It would also be extremely helpful if you already live in Omaha as no relocation assistance will be offered.
