Position Overview
The Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the Self Direction Plan/Budget on their caseload. FIC's process paperwork, bill for services, work with participants, families, and vendors to ensure services and reimbursements of funds are provided in timely and appropriate manner.
- Provide training to the participant on his/her employer responsibilities that includes assistance with job descriptions), staff management performance evaluations, staff conflict resolution.
- Verifying and processing time sheets for payroll, and service records and monitoring for overtime.
- Participate in annual and/or semi-Life Plans meetings to discuss issues related to self-directed staffing and/or supports and budget expenditures as required or as requested.
- Participate in Circle of Support (COS) Planning Team meetings as a budget resource, as needed or as requested.
- Incident management - reporting/investigating related to self-hired staff as required.
- Conduct audits to ensure PCCS/OPWDD compliance.
- Maintain communication with OPWDD regarding participants and services.
- Participate in PCCS and external committees, trainings, and community events.
- Provide self-hired staff with required mandated OPWDD training.
- Provide professional and development training for self-hired staff as requested by participant and/or designee.
- Assisting the participant with budget management.
Job Skills

Tech proficiency: Skilled in data entry, OPWDD and PCCS's EHR management, and Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related fields such as: Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Mental Health, etc.
Experience:
1 years of IDD experience required
