Personnel Source is hiring full-time for a Logistics Company located in NE Portland.
Shift Schedule Options: 9:00am to 5:03pm Monday - Friday. Overtime to be expected Note: Employer operates under the guidelines of the Transportation Security
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities
- Analyze routes and optimize delivery efficiency
- Communicate with drivers and provide necessary information for successful deliveries
- Utilize GPS systems to track vehicles and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate records of dispatching activities
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Collaborate with supply chain partners for effective transportation management
Requirements:
- Proficiency in phone systems and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management or similar software
- Experience in transportation planning and fleet management
- Familiarity with SyteLine or related supply chain software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills to optimize routes and schedules
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
