RESPONSIBILITIES
Office Risk Review Program (70%)
- Meet with Office Leadership and the Global Functions to help with the planning, execution, and post-review efforts for a portfolio of Office risk reviews and the company's extension businesses.
- Assist the team with the execution of risk reviews to assess the risk and controls environment in the offices and test the effectiveness of controls
- Prepare timely and comprehensive documentation of findings and recommendations, including local management comments
- Travel to any company's Office throughout the world and work with the team to develop and maintain the risk review work program
- Maintain risk profiles for each office and prioritizing offices for a visit
Global Functional Review Program (20%)
- Assist with targeted functional/operating risk reviews, which are focused on global or regional processes.
- Responsibilities will include conducting process walk-throughs, performing detailed testing, drafting detailed reporting/action plans, and following up on implementation efforts.
- Focus on the scope and objectives of each review to ensure the highest risk areas are addressed and the key findings are communicated.
- Develop relationships with key functional leaders.
- Work with Global Risk Management Director to develop an annual plan of global functional risk reviews; align staffing and coordinate scheduling with key stakeholders.
- Monitor trends and emerging issues for reporting to leadership (i.e., Audit and Risk Committee).
- Act as a risk liaison with the global functions, providing support and education on important risk issues.
Special Projects (10%)
- Work with the team to identify special projects and Global initiatives.
- Participate in special projects (e.g., lean, data & analytics).
- Assist with post review efforts (e.g., implementation)
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- An academic degree in a relevant discipline: compliance, risk management, change, business data/ethics. Advanced degrees (or progress towards) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience in compliance/ risk function within the tech, professional services, or the consulting industry.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational, project management, and teaming skills.
- Ability to travel to all the company's office locations Worldwide
- Travel is required approximately 25 % of the time, with the need to be flexible if additional travel is required. Travel is typically one week per month (may include weekends) but must be adaptable for risk reviews of up to 2 weeks if required. Travel is generally planned well in advance but must be flexible to travel on limited notice.
