We LOVE Pets! Do you? At Bark Avenue (Pet Pros dba EarthWise Pet) our goal is to provide healthy products for our four legged companions in a warm, friendly and fun neighborhood setting.

We strive to provide the education and knowledge to our team so they can make great recommendations for our guests and their pets.

Wage Range : $16.00 to $16.50 per hour

We seek Team Members who :

  • Are genuine, have a positive attitude and are helpful
  • Love to learn
  • Are team players who celebrate their own and other’s success
  • Are able to thrive in a retail environment
  • Can connect with and engage guests in thoughtful conversations and make recommendations that meet their needs and the needs of their pet
  • Maintain store cleanliness
  • Learn and maintain inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating and facing of product, cycle counts
  • Participate in merchandising, work on creative display of products
  • Attend store and company meetings (some meetings may be before or after hours)
  • Are comfortable with computers, learning new systems, performing transactions for guests at the point of sale accurately and completely
  • Have accurate cash handling skills, competent with basic math

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds, can bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb a ladder
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Highly accountable and has integrity
  • Has the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends
  • Desire to build a career with us!
