Animal Care Specialist -
Experience preferred, but willing to fully and adequately train the right candidate.
Provides care for pets (Fish, Birds, Reptiles, Small Critters) in our store, which include cleaning habitats, feeding and handling the animals and answering neighbor’s questions on animals/fish care to help them find or maintain the perfect pet.
As a team member who is a pet lover and passionate about people and their pets you will provide exceptional, neighborly service at every opportunity during your work day.
In addition to pet care your job will include: freight, cashier, providing the best in Customer (Neighbor) service at every opportunity and supporting fellow team members by acting as back-up when extra help is needed.
The Animal Care Specialist position can be physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-50 lbs) and standing for long periods of time. Being knowledgeable about animals and our products in order to provide outstanding neighborly service is a must. Candidates must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.'
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
