General Summary:
Recommends data audiences to meet the needs of the business and campaign objectives. Solves supporting audience and personalization through application of analysis, advanced techniques and in-depth evaluation. Advanced SQL code writing, running database queries, and developing lists of data on intended recipients and viewers of marketing messages across channels such as e-mail, direct mail, applications on mobile devices, websites, and paid media. Trains database analysts, creates, maintains, and analyzes customer and pet database resources used in marketing programs.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Recommends data audiences to meet the needs of the business and campaigns, including the development of new audiences. Lead on solving complex methods for audiences through existing and new techniques. Develops and distributes audiences (lists of data on intended recipients and viewers of marketing messages, i.e., current and/or prospective customers.”) across channels such as e-mail, direct mail, applications on mobile devices, websites and paid media. Trains database analysts on audience creation. Reviews teams SQL and other code, in support of audience creation and attributes required to drive personalization. Recommends and executes efficiencies in process for audience development, personalization Recommends and develops long-term plans for capturing, maintaining, and using customer, pet and other marketing-related data. Creates dashboards for audience health, database trends, and pet database opportunities. Cross functional partner with data science, data engineering and CRM IT to drive creation, maintenance and analysis of customer and pet database resources used in marketing programs. Activities include: (a) developing, recommending, and implementing procedures for capturing customer and pet data, maintaining data quality, and performing data audits; and (b) training and conferring with database users. Researches, develops, and recommends data sources to add to customer and pet database to improve customer targeting and marketing campaign effectiveness. Recommends and brings to market new developments and technologies in marketing (e.g., dynamic or personalized content, marketing automation, advanced segmentation, targeting, and re-targeting) and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, math, computer science, marketing, business administration or related field, 5-8 years of experience analytics, business intelligence, data reporting, database marketing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training. Significant experience in applicable technologies or concepts including advanced SQL and data warehousing and data mining; big data; web analytics solutions. Strong experience in data governance, data profiling, data quality and system integration. Work flexibly within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Liveramp, and the enterprise data warehouse as needed. Analytic/modeling skills with understanding of statistical concepts. Comfortable using data to make recommendations and drive decisions. Advanced experience retrieving/summarizing transactional data sets and integrating those data with customer and merchandise data to develop new insights.

$75,100.00 - $112,600.00Hourly or Salary Range will be reflected above. Exact rate of pay will be based on position, location, and experience level.
