The Safety Compliance Coordinator is responsible for administration of standardized EHS programs, safety compliance processes, training tool development and compliance, and maintaining records relating to performance and compliance. The position reports to the Executive Director of Environmental and Safety Affairs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tracking and compliance report preparation of the following: Injuries, Property Damage, Near Misses, Citations
- Assisting operations with root cause incident analysis.
- Processing conference/contest paperwork and payments for citations and citation remittances
- Insurance, State, MSHA and OSHA Compliance Reporting (First Report of Injury, MSHA 2000-7, 7000-1, 7000-2, OSHA 300 and DLS Surveys)
- Auditing of sites and employee training documentation
- Oversight and distribution of annual site safety summaries and monthly safety report cards
- Oversight and distribution of Mentor Meeting notes, Incident Alerts, and Near Miss Reports
- Assist sites as an advisor on crisis drills planning and follow-up actions
- Maintain Crisis Management plans
- Maintain Site Training and Safety plans
- Monitor and distribute SMS reports to Executive Directors and COO
- Training designee for EHS group
- Provide general compliance research support and guidance for sites as requested
- Participate in industry safety committees as assigned by Executive Director
- Develop and Maintain EHS Plan/Program SOPs as needed
- Develop, distribute, and maintain safety training material
