This requires the Scan Coordinator to conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including changing shelf signs, and tags, promotional signs, and ensures compliance with all company and governmental compliance regulations. As a team member of Pete’s Fresh Market it is important that Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service are always exemplified.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesReview all e-mailed Manager’s Reports from all stores- one store’s scan issue is most likely affecting the entire company; take action for your store’s discrepancies by researching the problems and reporting your findings to buyer and or pricing managerTag, apply, and audit all batches sentApply, tag, audit and maintain all weekly ads, monthly ads, promos and manager’s specialsAct as communication liaison between all departments regarding scan issues (effective communicator)Run reports weekly and daily for store losses, donations, open-key, etc.Perform complete produce audits weekly and bulk auditsPerform store audits during downtimeOther duties as assignedEducation/CertificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalency w/ 5 years of experience in grocery store, deli, or similar retail environment.Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business a plusPeople management training classes or experienceMust have above average cash handling and basic math/calculating skills.Sanitation LicenseOther Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust have three to five years of relevant experience.Must be 18 years old or older.Must be capable of providing and modeling exceptional customer service.Must have excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively with customers, store leadership, and fellow-team members.Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in groups.Work Environment/ Physical DemandsMust have the physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, bend and stoop to grasp objects, frequently push and pull up to 100 lbs., frequently lift loads up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift 75 lbs.Occasional high stress when dealing with systems/customers/staff.Able to work a flexible schedule with various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as determined by the store/business needs and as required to ensure adequate store staffing.Must have reliable source of transportation.The ability to be reached during/after work hours.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
