What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Specialist position at Pete's RV Center?
Pete's RV is looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our Parts Department. The desired candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming parts shipments from our vendor partners.
- Inspect all incoming shipments for damage and verify for accuracy.
- Maintain, organize, and manage all shipping and receiving documents including special orders, purchase orders, invoices, return authorizations and receiving reports.
- Assist inventory planner with all vendor part returns.
- Maintain bin locations.
- Assist accounting department in invoice processing.
- Assist in weekly/monthly/yearly inventory cycle counts.
- Help stage parts to service technicians.
- Provide daily part order statuses to service department.
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly professional and dependable
- Safety and customer service oriented
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Uses sound inventory practices to always maintain a healthy parts inventory.
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Maintain an Excellent CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) - a MUST!!

Pay: $20-$22 based on experience
