We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at Petridis Insurance Agency. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise or materials.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of orders.
- Unload and sort materials or products.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate records using inventory management software.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipping labels and arrange shipping logistics.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
