Maintenance Person

Specific Job Responsibilities (essential functions)

• Represent Petro Serve USA/Valley Dairy and promote company values
• Safeguard all company assets including fixtures, equipment, supplies and inventory
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of property and equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and up keep on facility equipment as required
• Troubleshooting and repairs on equipment with out having to call in outside specialists
• Identify and report building & equipment deficiencies or needs to supervisor
• Maintain all records of the repair and maintenance works conducted for each facility
• Read and interpret equipment manuals/work orders to perform required maintenance /service
• Follow all safety standards and procedures
• Effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe, well organized work area and ensure an adequate inventory supply
• Train store managers on light maintenance duties at all store locations
• Report to your supervisor daily for direction on prioritizing store maintenance needs
• Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

• Able to bend, kneel, sit and stand repetitively and for extended periods of time on a regular basis. Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work with others and train others on light maintenance
• Work in extreme cold and hot temperatures for extended periods of time
• Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call at any time, including evenings and weekends, including travel to out of town stores and overnight visits(minimum of 48 hours required)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair and drywall

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
