Petro Towery is looking for a motivated, self starter to manage our compliance department.

Summary

       The role of the Environmental Compliance Manager is to maintain a fully trained testing staff to meet customer needs; coach and evaluate testing staff as needed. This position is responsible for ensuring that compliance services offered by Petro Towery are pursuant to state agencies’ rules and regulations, and serves as a point of contact for all compliance needs per our customers’ requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Serve as liaison between customer and state agencies
    • Analyzes contracts to ensure we are providing service to contract specifications
    • Maintain 3rd party compliance programs and software (SIR, Titan, Etc.)
    • Maintain testing equipment (yearly calibration, etc.)
    • Ensures all Compliance Department staff are trained on current systems, processes and Ventus mobile data procedures
    • Stay current with all state and federal compliance regulations
    • Work with internal support departments to ensure work is completed on time and within manufacturer specifications.
    • Manage day-to-day functions of the department
    • Responsible for researching, developing, writing and updating Compliance Department policies, procedures, methods and guidelines
    • Ensure Successful Completion of Service Tickets on a per ticket basis, which includes posting hours to payroll
    • Works with current customer base on any needs they may have
    • Evaluates Compliance Department staff on performance and provide feedback on raises and promotions
    • Meets and exceed Compliance Department deadlines

  • Comprehensive understanding of states’ compliance regulations
  • Expertise with computer information systems and accessories including but not limited to servers, routers, modems, and computer programs such as Microsoft Office 
  • Detail-oriented and excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
