This position is responsible for the supervision of sales floor personnel, inventory, safety, and world class customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver world class customer satisfaction
2. Effectively manage the store in the Store Manager’s or Assistant Manger’s absence
3. Relay any customer concern regarding products, pricing or merchandise to the Store Manager
4. Monitor associates selling skills, motivate employees, and act as a role model
5. Participate in merchandising and display of new and existing products
6. Create a positive, professional and trusting environment for all of our valued associates
7. Observe all safety rules and procedures and adhere to safety standards
8. Deliver great store conditions in accordance with Petsense standards
9. Instruct store associates on job responsibilities on an ongoing basis
10. Verify products are checked in per procedure, and shortages/overages are documented and forwarded for correction
11. Ensure store is well stocked, merchandised, signed, and priced at all times
12. Delegate and follow up on work assignments-provide leadership, direction, and supervision
13. Open/Close store and maintain cash control standards
14. Communicate, clarify and enforce company policy and procedures to associates
