Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors, Inc., is a privately owned civil contracting firm that performs work in the public and private market, specializing in clearing, grading, underground water/utility, roadway, and wastewater plant construction throughout the Southeast. Our clients include construction services for public works, water resources, and site development. If you have experience working in the heavy civil construction industry as a concrete Water/Wastewater Project Engineer or want to grow that experience, this role will be a great fit.

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:

  • Have 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management (Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants)
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Understand industrial constructions principles, operations, and logistics
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Proficient computer and software skills: MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera P6
  • Experience using construction-specific software for heavy civil projects
  • Able to use manual dexterity, physical stamina, life 80 pounds, and climb ladders or scaffolding
  • Analyze and forecast production budgets
