Benefits Manager

As our Benefits Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and administering all employee benefits programs. You will lead the way in crafting a comprehensive benefits strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, along with a strong background in benefits administration, including health insurance, life insurance, and other fringe benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive benefits strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Administer all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers and benefits vendors to negotiate contracts, ensure competitive pricing, and maintain high-quality benefits offerings.
  • Lead the annual open enrollment process, providing communication, education, and enrollment support for employees.
  • Stay informed about changes in benefit regulations and industry trends, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Analyze benefits data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with benefits brokers, consultants, and other external partners.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Benefits Coordinator and other members of the HR function on benefit-related matters.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on benefits programs and policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs, making recommendations for enhancements or changes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience in Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to employees at all levels.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive ability to influence and persuade.

Location:

  • Position is based in Scottsdale, AZ 85255.
  • Work is primarily in an office setting with some flexibility to work remote occasionally.
