Job Summary:
This is a multi-location regional management level position responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT department. This position is accountable for IT security and ensuring continuity of computer services for IT resource users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination. This position is an integral part of the global IT leadership team.
Essential Functions:
1. Perform all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT department including employee related issues.
2. Enforce company policies and procedures as a member of management for all employees.
3. Present a professional image as a representative of the company.
4. Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and every level of inter-divisional management and with IT colleagues at all company divisions.
5. Determine the goals of IT within broad outlines provided by the executive management and contribute to the continuity of IT services by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.
6. Forecast costs, equipment and personnel needs for projects and programs as required and related to IT operations.
7. Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT technology and remain highly technically competent at all levels of GMM Pfaudler IT systems while striving for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software/hardware technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize IT resources.
8. Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support them. Assures responsiveness of long-range plans to corporate objectives.
9. Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and equipment suppliers. Negotiate and manage any contracts that may be executed with suppliers.
10.) Work closely with the global IT leadership team to define and execute IT security, IT policy, ERP applications, infrastructure operations and productivity solutions.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure all essential functional responsibilities are carried out for company locations within the regional area.
Ability to work occasionally with colleagues in international time zones.
1. Monitor and analyze system performance data, recommend and implement policies, software and hardware to provide maximum resource utilization in a cost-efficient manner.
2. Assume the leadership role in developing and maintaining a systems disaster recovery plan.
3. Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 Enterprise platform and Azure Integrated Active Directory.
Experience with managing and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams services, including an understanding of workflow design and forms design.

2. Ability to analyze information to assist in directing company management in the selection of software and hardware to meet the needs of the organization.
3. Strong interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to exercise strong judgment in analyzing, appraising, evaluating and solving problems of a difficult procedural, organizational, administrative or technical nature.
5. Must meet physical requirements and pass substance abuse screening as may be required.
Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years’ of related IT management experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Must have previous experience with integrated ERP support in a manufacturing environment.
