The Pfizer Digital Biopharma, Patient-Facing, & CDI Creation Center (BPC) is accountable for the creation, configuration, launch, and support of all externally facing digital (web, mobile, & omni-channel) products, platforms, services, and experiences, servicing all external customer types at Pfizer. In addition, this team is accountable for our Marketing Technology (MarTech stack) inclusive of Digital Platforms, Digital Channel Enablement, Content Integration, and Marketing/Marketer Tools, as well as our Commercial Field Force Enablement suite of products.

The Portfolio & Operations Associate will assist with the tactical execution of global processes, including, but not limited to, portfolio quality, operational reporting, demand management, solution governance, and project closeout. The BPC Portfolio & Reporting team manages a global scope of approximately $200M annual operating expense as well as $350M annual project costs. This role will report to the Director, Portfolio & Reporting, BPC within a matrixed team of 6-12 members.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Portfolio quality
  • Participate in the creation and stewardship of portfolio quality assurance activities
  • Ensure key project data elements are populated and tracked consistently, such as status, financials, interdependencies, issues, risks, and accomplishments
  • Manage regular incoming and outgoing requests for data validation
  • Identify and address issues to support leads and\or project workstream leads
  • Assist with creation of procedural documentation
Operational reporting
  • Support Reporting Lead in development of monthly dashboards
  • Assist in defining requirements for future optimization
Portfolio Management
  • Assist in monthly reconciliation for all Resource & Capacity allocations with focus on impact to project capitalization
  • Manage membership and structure of collaboration tools, such as Teams, DLs, etc
  • Identify and address issues to support leads and\or project workstream leads
  • Assist with creation of procedural documentation
  • Facilitate comprehensive Project Closeout process which includes but is not limited to data validation, budget transfer, launch highlights, and surveys
  • Implement stage gate prompts for key project roles to draw attention to consistent processes and templates
  • Assist with additional portfolio and financial tasks or special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Information Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or Accountancy
  • Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably a portion supporting portfolio & financial processes
  • Organized, analytical, detail-oriented individual with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with minimal oversight
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to manage tasks to completion
  • Quickly learns new skills and knowledge readily
  • Team oriented
Preferred
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to contribute fresh and innovative ideas

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Primarily computer-based work
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimal travel may be required. Ability to meet virtually with team members in other offices and\or regions during off-hours as needed
  • Our business is a 7x24x365 endeavor. This role may on occasion require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours
  • Work Location Assignment - Hybrid: Hybrid colleagues must be able to work in Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business to connect and innovate with their team face-to-face. However, they also benefit from being able to work offsite regularly when it makes business sense to do so

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
