Tax & Compliance Administrator
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Corporate Headquarters)

Position Summary:
Potawatomi Federal Solutions is seeking a qualified Tax & Compliance Administrator who is responsible for maintaining the company’s tax files, reviewing all tax for accuracy and filing all Federal and State Taxes. The position requires good communication skills, a broad knowledge of tax laws and data analysis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Administration of Tax & Compliance:
- Management of timesheet, leave and payroll schedules, ensure accuracy of payroll.
- Update Cost Point state, local and federal tax tables.
Tax Reporting:
- Calculate, review, report and remit bi-weekly federal and state withholding taxes as required.
- Calculate, review, report and remit quarterly SUTA and state taxes.
- Reconcile tax reports to the general ledger.
- Communicate with state agencies to ensure withholding compliance in newly acquired states.
- Prepare and file quarterly 941’s.
Monthly Processes:
- Prepare and file all monthly tax.
- Provide U.S. Department of Labor reports to Human Resources as required.
Year End Processes:
- Reconciliation and filing of federal, state annual reports and tax returns.
- Reconciliation, preparation and filing of W-2’s.
- Create and file magnetic media information with the Social Security Administration.
- Communication and Miscellaneous Reporting
- Create special need reports for state departments using Impromptu report writing system.
- Communicate, diagnose and troubleshoot tax inquiries, and notices.
Other Duties:
- Performs other duties as assigned by the CFO.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from post-secondary school
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in bookkeeping procedures and generally accepted finance procedures
- Knowledge of all Microsoft products
- Specific knowledge of bookkeeping, finance, and general financial method and procedures
- Bookkeeping experience and be technically qualified in bookkeeping techniques
- Ten-key by touch
- General finance skills
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must have the dedication and the ability to accomplish multiple tasks while maintaining communication and coordination with numerous co-workers.
- Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of finance information, records, and files.
- Will work hand in hand with Accounts Payable Specialist and the Accounts Receivable/Billing Team Leader.
- Works closely with CFO on internal finance controls and communication of policies.
- Ability to evaluate, calculate, interpret, compare, analyze, and edit.
- Must have good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sit and type/keyboard for long periods of time, grasp, turn wrist, reach, stretch, and file.
