The Regulatory Affairs organization supports the operating lines of business by providing regulatory expertise, managing the development, approval and implementation of regulatory filings, rates and tariffs, and advocating the business needs to our stakeholders and regulators. Regulatory Proceedings leads the business in achieving company goals by working with regulators and other stakeholders. Today’s business needs innovative regulatory ideas and strong collaboration with stakeholders.
Position Summary
The Case Manager will be responsible for managing regulatory proceedings for assigned cases, ensuring compliance with regulatory directives and stakeholder engagement. This position will also be involved with the development of case materials, acting as a witness, process improvements and other special projects or initiatives.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $82,000
Bay Area Maximum: $124,000
Job Responsibilities
- Case manage low to moderate complexity regulatory filings
- Assists subject matter expert witnesses with development of testimony, work papers and discovery responses, settlement documents and communications materials
- Partner with manager, leaders in client line of business, Legal, and other stakeholders to develop case strategy and resolve issues; utilize knowledge of utility industry practices and/or benchmarks with industry peers; and effectively communicate case strategy or policy issues with company management or with outside parties
- Reviews, understands and summarizes relevant proposed decisions and other regulatory filings; provides insight into implications and make recommendations relating to case comments and/or proposed decisions; and recommend changes in case strategy resulting from anticipated or unanticipated decisions or other developments
- Ensures all compliance items are identified, tracked, monitored and implemented
- Gathers information as part of assisting with research on a case
- Under some direction from the manager or more senior case manager, may contact peers at outside agencies
- Develop relationships to collaborate externally with stakeholders to further the company’s objectives
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Job-related experience, 3 years
Desired:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
