The Supply Chain Organization includes a staff of more than 650 sourcing managers, buyers, analysts, materials planners, supplier diversity, and warehouse personnel. Position Summary

This Contract Manger will support Contract Operations in evaluating the effectiveness of, and recommend improvements to, business process, practice, and procedures including the PO Governance process and After the Fact PO Spend. This role will also provide direction and strategy recommendations on contractual matters and coach and assist in the development of team members.

Our candidate must also be focused on delivering solutions and process efficiencies through problem solving partnership with leaders and stakeholders.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. 

Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:​

Bay Area Minimum: $ 78,000

Bay Area Maximum: $116,000

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and based on business needs.

  Job Responsibilities:

• Leads and/or supports complex technical and operational contract related processes.
• Provides direction and strategy recommendations on contractual matters.
• Creates new and innovative approaches, tools and tactics to solve complex problems.
• Provides strategic as well as technical direction to all team members.
• Coaches and develops team members.
• Leads large and complex cross-functional projects or process improvement initiatives.
• Provides timely information that employees need to do their jobs.
• Trains team members on policy and complex contract issues.
• Manages the process to ensure compliance with contract and tariff requirements.
• Negotiates major policy issues independently.
• May handle at least one of the most complex Agreements or Contracts.
• Represents PG&E in external forums.
• May act as an expert witness.
• Handles special research projects for the section.
• Manages accounting, financial and cash flow or policy and contract development processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3 years of related experience

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

• Experience in major construction project controls, cost estimating and scheduling
• Experience with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) regarding contract
