Overview

Lake of Isles, located in North Stonington, CT is seeking the services of a passionate and dynamic individual who aspires to be a Top Level Teaching Professional to join our team.

The position is full-time, percentaged based position including private coaching, junior camps, junior coaching, club fitting, TrackMan services, and club sales.

The Teaching Professional will work closely with the Director of Instruction to promote and conduct golf instruction and player development programs to meet the needs / demands for all golfer segments in the local marketplace.

Experience Required

• Experience coaching different levels of golfers
• PGA Professional Certification preferable
• Ability to use, or learn to use, launch monitor technology, video swing capture technology, or other related coaching technologies during a lesson session
• Golf equipment sales and club fitting knowledge
• GED or high school diploma
• Social and interpersonal skills required to interact with Members and Guests
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Availability to work varied shifts inclusive of - evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

• Teaches Junior golf programs, Junior Camps, TrackMan Sessions, Club fitting, Private Coaching, On-Course coaching
• Works closely with the Director of Instruction to plan and develop instruction programs that appeal to all golfer segments in the surrounding market
• Provides golf instruction to private students and group participants as demand dictates and as needed
• Assists in the upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure that safe, clean, organized and professional conditions exist throughout
• Utilize state-of-the-art teaching and learning theories, and be able to integrate the use of training aids, video tape and club fitting into the facility’s instructional programs when necessary
• Represent the facility in the community and with local businesses through promotional activities and programs
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
