We are seeking an IT Manager with Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry experience to join our corporate team to develop new strategies and IT procedures, and coordinate the needs of our inhouse IT team, remote employees, vendors, and contractors.
Include, but not limited to,
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, end-user devices, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and office automation equipment
- Oversee provisioning of end-user services, including Help Desk and Technical Support Services
- Create and oversee IT project portfolio/initiatives and function as Project Manager
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
- Coordinate with management to implement IT policies, procedures, and system controls
- Keep current with the latest technologies that improve IT processes/development
- Remediate software version vulnerabilities and keep on top of updates, as well as changes to the environment
- Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications operating systems (desktop and server), and server roles (AD DS, DHCP, DN, DFS, Print Server, File Server, Terminal Server, etc.)
- Management oversight of all tickets within ITSM Tool requiring follow-up work and/or calls are resolved
- Oversee asset management for IT hardware and software
- Develop and lead training for software use, software rollouts, network security, and best practices
- Manage project data archival procedures and lead business continuity and disaster recovery response
- Oversee coordination of IT Infrastructure Manager, Sysadmin, Desktop Support Specialist, and Managed Service Providers
- Work with Operations, NOC, carriers, hardware vendors, and other Vendors in negotiating contracts, verifying accuracy on quotes/agreements, and assessing SLA performance
- Review/finalize monthly IT support assessment reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent certifications required
- 10 years of networking experience with various LAN, WAN, security and Wi-Fi technologies and protocols required
- Prior A/E/C industry experience required
- Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously
- Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Virtual Desktop Environment preferred
- Strong hands-on knowledge of network infrastructure, including, routers, firewalls, and IP Telephony, including relevant protocols
- Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 knowledge, some Azure preferred
- Active Directory/Group Policy
- Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online
- Network Appliance or relevant NAS/SAN, ISCSI experience
- Enterprise Backup Solutions (EMC, VNX, Backup Tape Drive, IDPA, Carbonite)
- SharePoint Online
- IP Telephony (Microsoft Teams Voice, SIP, VOIP)
- Experience with Autodesk Suite/Products, Deltek Vision/Deltek Professional Services (DPS)/Vantagepoint preferred, but not required
