What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Assistant position at PGS Worldwide, LLC?
PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Stock Assistant to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Manassas, VA. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description
Responsibilities include picking and kitting parts, cycle counting, and assisting with other warehouse duties as required. Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue parts and materials. Examines stock to verify specifications, requisitions and follows procedures for storing articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock and prepares associated documentation.
Great attention to detail and proactive communication required
Requirements
Skills required: able to use a pallet jack, physically motivated, able to lift & move heavy items (50 lbs.).
Preferences: experience working in a warehouse environment, forklift certified
Prior experience working in a warehouse environment a must. Looking for highly motivated team member. Stockroom experience a plus.
