PLA is a transformative education nonprofit changing communities across the country by providing a depth of resources not found in the traditional education model. In addition to serving as one of the country’s best turnaround school operators and successfully launching charter school start-ups, PLA also provides our school communities with a successful, research-based summer learning program (Summer Advantage), a successful Reading and Math Intervention program (Reading and Math Advantage), and a workforce development program (PLA University) that provides expanded opportunities for our high school graduates, along with the family members of our current staff and students. This menu of programs and services is unique to our network, sets us apart from other organizations, and provides expanded opportunities for our staff through career advancement opportunities, and expanded income opportunities.
The Campus: This is a remote position, but will generate leads for all PLA Michigan schools

Key Deliverables:
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on overcoming objections and closing deals. Ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of Phalen Leadership Academies and address concerns raised by prospective students and families
- Territory Management: Proficient in territory management strategies, including identifying key communities, allocating resources effectively, and developing action plans to maximize enrollment opportunities in targeted areas
- Lead Generation: Implement innovative lead generation techniques to identify and cultivate prospective students and families. Utilize various channels, including digital marketing, community outreach, onsite events, and referral programs, to generate leads and increase enrollment prospects
- Strong Regional Connections: Established network and connections within the Michigan region, including educational institutions, community organizations, and key stakeholders. Leverage these relationships to enhance brand visibility, foster partnerships, and generate enrollment leads
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with local communities to build relationships, raise awareness, and promote Phalen Leadership Academies as the preferred choice for quality education. Organize and participate in community events, information sessions, and outreach activities to connect with prospective students and families
- Presentation and Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to various audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively conveying the benefits of enrolling in Phalen Leadership Academies and addressing inquiries from prospective families
- Data-Driven Approach: Utilize data analysis and market research to identify enrollment assess competition and inform strategic decision-making. Track and analyze lead metrics to measure progress and optimize enrollment strategies for maximum effectiveness
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sales, enrollment management, or related field, preferably within the education sector
- Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales/enrollment targets
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish meaningful connections
- Knowledge of educational policies, enrollment procedures, and market trends in Michigan preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability to travel within the region's priorities (centrally located in Indiana)
