PharmcareUSA of West Chester, OH is seeking a FULL-TIME Pharmacist.
PharmcareUSA is a national, closed-door, long-term care pharmacy business with locations in multiple states. We are privately owned and continue to grow each year, providing daily deliveries to nursing and assisted living facilities as well as hospice residents. We are passionate about what we do and are looking for staff with the same attitude. Here at PharmcareUSA, we strive to take care of our own staff as well as the customers we serve. We are seeking Bright, Energetic, Reliable pharmacists- currently licensed with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy- to become part of our growing West Chester Team.
The preferred person is someone with good communication skills, reliability, and a congenial personality. Experience with sterile compounding is a plus. If you are the right person, we invite you to bring your operational and clinical skills to our Team. The schedule will include some rotating on-call evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
Job Summary:
The Pharmacist is a licensed professional who is responsible for providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to PharmcareUSA patients/residents in accordance with the policies and procedures of PharmcareUSA current pharmacy practice professional standards, and other regulatory entities.
Essential Functions:
- Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary
- Assist with phone calls as necessary
- Manage the staffing schedule to meet the needs of the pharmacy
- Oversee proper inventory management and medication ordering
- Assist with and oversee Medication Returns and E-Kit management
- Develop and supervise medication management systems to ensure that adequate supplies of medications are available to meet resident care needs, stored under appropriate and secure conditions, delivered to residents in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, and labeled appropriately.
- Evaluate medication administration to verify that it conforms with the prescribers orders
- Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians licenses to maintain a current status
- Complete all required administrative tasks in a timely manner, including new hire and payroll processes
- Adhere with all compliance requirements
- Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate
