What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP/AR Specialist - Hybrid in Boston! position at Phaxis?

I am looking for an AP/AR Specialist to join an incredible team with an Investment Banking client of mine. This person will report directly to the VP of Accounting.


Direct Hire - Hybrid in Boston (75-90k base)


Must Haves:

  • BA Degree (preferably in related field)
  • 2 years of related experience of AR/AP
  • Financial services industry experience


Day to Day:

  • Responsible for AP (processing of all checks for payables, analysis of AP aging reports and general ledger account reconciliations)
  • Responsible for AR (generating invoices, cash application, analysis of AR aging reports)
  • Administering W9 and 1099
  • Involvement in accounting month end close to ensure accurate and timely recording/reporting of financial information
