Information Technology Manager

This prestigious, international, financial services company seeks ambitious candidates to assist in managing their Information Technology team in their Jersey City, NJ offices. This is a VP level role.

Job functions will include:

• Work directly with the Head of IT and other managers to provide enhanced management control across all areas of IT.
• Partner with IT managers, business managers, and the IT Architecture group to drive select strategic plans, as well as analysis and potential adoption of emerging technologies at the Bank.
• Assist in Portfolio planning and development including prioritization, sequencing, feasibility, and risk assessment, across multiple resource pools, multiple functions, and applications.
• Assist in project planning and execution oversight of assigned activities across all IT areas.
• Lead IT-wide Continuous Improvement planning and program management.

Qualified candidates must have:

• At least 8-10 years of Banking/Financial Services experience and a strong understanding across core technology domains within the financial services industry.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing Development and Support of mission-critical, distributed financial services technology applications and staff.
• A demonstrated capability in integrating Vendor solutions and Technology products with home-grown solutions.
• Strong Vendor Management skills.
• Architectural mindset with broad understanding across multiple technology stack environments and domains like Infrastructure, Cloud, Data Governance, and emerging technologies.
• Deep understanding of core IT management and control topics, including: SDLC, Project and Resource Management, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Information Security, Risk Management, and Audit. Experience working with regulatory examiners is preferred.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
