We are looking to hire a Part-time Research Specialist III for a state government client . **Position is contingent upon contract award**

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance by the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services in the implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), including interpretation of laws and federal regulations that apply to vocational rehabilitation in the formation of agency policy.
• Analyze data concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of vocational rehabilitation services in the state of West Virginia, including data related to authorized dollars spent on services, caseload management, and various other topics.
• Prepare and submit reports based on analysis of data obtained from internal and external sources.
• Attend and assist in the facilitation of public meetings.
• Data collection from WVDE and NCES in order to calculate Pre-ETS set-aside.
• Assist with activities from the Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA).
• Review, analyze data, write, format and edit documentation of results, including recommendation for agency moving forward relating to CSNA materials.
• Assist with preparation of WIOA mandated Unified State Plan, submitted to the federal Departments of Education and Labor.
• Review and contribute to Annual Report Narrative submitted to the US Department of Labor by the State's Workforce Development System.
• Assist with review of Memorandums of Understanding and Infrastructure Funding Agreements between agency and the regional Workforce Development Boards.
• Review Social Security Administration Cost Reimbursement amount calculations as it relates to Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
• Responsible for reviewing status progression data/reports in order to provide feedback regarding Social Security Administration Cost Reimbursement to WVDRS.

Education:

A Master's Degree is required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in technical and analytical work.
• Experience in Vocational Rehabilitation Services, required.
• MS Office.
