What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Coordinator (FT) position at Philip Health Services?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordination of, or assistance with coordination and supervision of the Health Unit Clerks, including but not limited to all aspects of registration, patient movement, scheduling, ensuring all appropriate signatures are completed, and insurance authorizations and certifications and recertification’s.
Qualifications/Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Nurse Assistant preferred, but not required.
- Certified and up to date in Basic Life Support, will provide if not in place.
Experience:
- One year previous experience is preferred.
