Job Title EH&S Intern Job Description Intern – Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) – San Diego, CA – Are you interested in an internship contributing to continuously pioneering new breakthroughs in healthcare technology? Philips seeks an intern for our EH&S team. We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) or graduate (MS) degree to participate in a 3-6mo. paid internship at our site in San Diego, CA. Your role Successful candidate will work on projects that benefit Philips sustainability goals The individual will work with EH&S Engineer, site leadership, and corporate experts to ensure effective programs and processes are in place to achieve goals Opportunity to work on processes and programs that could be adopted by other Philips sites Obtain valuable experience working with Philips sustainably experts globally, on site projects Internship could be either on-site or remote depending on candidate’s location Opportunity to become experienced/proficient in communicating electronically and using advanced data collection systems You’re the right fit if B.S. Science / M.S. Science in Environmental Sciences or Sustainability Proficient in Microsoft applications and ability to learn advanced data collection tools 3 years of University studies completed and previous intern experience in an Environmental field, a plus Intern should be comfortable working with teams of all levels, from Senior leadership to manufacturing associates, and making presentations when necessary You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position About Philips We are a health technology company. Philips Transparency Details The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 to $31.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
