We have a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity a 1st shift Material Handler. The Latham MR Magnets facility is a manufacturing and development site for Magnetic Resonance Imaging magnets and other superconducting products used in Philips Magnetic Resonance Imaging and other customers.

You are responsible for

• Work independently to maintain the flow of material on the production floor.
• Identify the needs of the work stations and ensure stations are stocked as necessary being attentive to those work stations so that they do not shut down.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Maintaining material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
• Work with Production Control to receive, check in and put away stock quickly and accurately
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Deliver parts between warehouse and production facility
   

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in a material handling role preferred.
• Powered Industrial Truck / Forklift Operator experience
• Organization, Scheduling, Analyzing Information , Dealing with Complexity, Time Management, Inventory Control, Lifting
