The Analyst supports solutions in the IT Security organization with expertise in video management and access control systems. As an Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of our organization's physical security infrastructure, with a focus on the Milestone video management and OnGuard access control systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical proficiency, a deep understanding of security principles, and the ability to analyze and mitigate security risks effectively.
Responsibilities May Include:
Provide technical expertise and support for electronic security systems, including access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, video recording, and communications systems in a corporate environment, including after hours and weekend support as needed
Manage and coordinate contractor installation activities, service repairs, preventive maintenance, inventory and replacement schedules for security systems and equipment
Perform system configuration, and change management of security systems
Project planning, delivery and inventory management
Advise on technical recommendations for new deployments of electronic security systems
Adhere to written standards and guidelines for security systems to ensure operability, reliability, and consistent application of security standards
Contribute in development and periodic updates of technical security standards
Develop and maintain security system processes and operation documentation
Train designated security access control administrators and site security coordinators on security systems and equipment operation, testing, and data entry standards and processes
Ability to manage security-related implementation projects from start to finish
Maintain continuing education and knowledge on new technology features and development
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Associates Degree or Trade Certification in Electronics or related field
Subject Matter Expert in Video Management Systems at an enterprise level
5 or more years of direct experience with physical security systems and security software (i.e. Lenel, Honeywell, SoftwareHouse, AMAG, etc.)
Basic understanding of electronics, computers, and networking
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Able and willing to provide day-to-day 24x7 application support
Able and willing to travel 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Electronics related field
Military School Electronics training
Lenel OnGuard Master Certification
Strong familiarity with MS Office Suite and Lenel security applications
Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Possess strong verbal and written communications skills, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, coordinate, escalate and resolve issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with building code requirements and the construction industry
Ability to multi-task/problem solve in a help-desk environment
