Telematics Data Analyst

Phillips Infrastructure Holdings Inc is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Telematics Data Analyst to join our team.  As a Telematics Analyst specializing in Commercial Motor Vehicles, you will be at the forefront of leveraging data to optimize the operations and performance of fleets. Your role will involve monitoring driving behaviors, using the Motive System, analyzing telematics data, and providing insight to improve driver safety and optimize fleet performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to leverage data to drive positive outcomes.   

Key Responsibilities:

1. • Collect and analyze driving behavior data collected from the Motive App, including but not limited to speeding, hard braking, hard acceleration, and hard cornering. 
   • Monitor driving behaviors in real time using the Motive App dashboard and identify high risk drivers or vehicles that require immediate attention. 
   • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key performance metrics related to driving performance to management and fleet manager. 
   • Conduct trend analysis to identify patterns and trends in driving behavior data over time and provide recommendations for improvement based on data driven insights. 
   • Work with Compliance department to implement training programs for corrective action training to promote safe driving practices among drivers, utilizing data provided by the Motive App.
   • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to telematics data analysis and driver safety. 
   • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, ad safety standards related to driving behaviors and data privacy.
   • Participate in regular meetings to discuss challenges and collaborate solutions. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Previous experience in data analytics, preferably in the context of commercial motor vehicle operations or fleet management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products. 
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, works well in a team environment. 
• Self-driven, ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving assets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and committed to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
