Applied Behavior Analysts/Registered Behavior Technicians
PHILLIPS Family Partners Program is seeking dedicated and compassionate ABA Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children and youth in Northern Virginia. Supplement your income with late afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.
ABA Technicians/RBTs implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans created by and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our programs focus on pairing with our clients, motivating and encouraging clients, and utilizing ABA principles within the natural environment by applying principals within the child’s/youth’s/family’s needs, routines, and setting. RBTs will assist clients with day-to-day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on clients' progress, and communicate with clients and BCBA.

Job Description
· Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with clients and their families
· Provide direct behavior analytic services in the child’s home and community
· Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans as outlined by BCBA
· Participate in supervision, as scheduled
· Seek appropriate consultation on treatment plan, as needed
· Record data for all goals during ABA sessions
· Effectively communicate, both in written and verbal formats, about the client’s progress
· Utilize de-escalation techniques for novel behaviors that are not included in the client’s treatment plan
Qualifications
- BA/BS Required
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Not required to get hired)
- Minimum 1-year experience working with children
Schedule
- Part-time
- Late afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.
