Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ. We are currently looking for a Dietary Supervisor to join our team.
The primary responsibility of the position is to assist the Food Service Director manage the daily food operations and sustain the highest quality food service and nutritional care for our residents.

Responsibilities as a Dietary Supervisor:
- Assist in supervising the Dietary staff to ensure smooth day to day operations
- Operate the Dietary department in a safe and sanitary manner by ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and following established policies and procedures
- Work closely with the facility Dietician to ensure meals meet the nutritional needs of the residents
- Train and educate new staff
- Provide counseling and disciplinary action to staff members as needed
- Inspect the kitchen daily and maintain it in a safe and sanitary manner
- Follow Infection Control policies when performing daily tasks
- Ensure that stock levels of staple/non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels at all times
- Attend and participate in meetings and in-services
- Communicate with staff members from other departments
Requirements:
- ServSafe certificate required
- At least two years experience in an acute care facility or two years food service experience
