SUMMARY:
The General Maintenance Worker position performs general maintenance and repair of various Training Engagement Systems (TES) devices in support of the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) Contract.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair of TES devices to include ITAS-TESS, MILES IWS, MILES 2000, TVS, WESS, WITS
- Capture and record accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into AWARE
- Maintain personal accountability for assigned tools and equipment
- Follow established site and company safety requirements
- Use spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines
- Research and select repair parts needed
- Install TES equipment on military vehicles
- This position may require travel to other installations and other ATMP locations throughout Germany or Europe
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 3- 5 years of experience as a General Maintenance Worker or a related field.
- Proficient with basic mechanical repairs
- Proficient with basic computer systems including email and Microsoft Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid USAREUR driver's license and Post driving privileges
- Must be able to obtain a valid Blue Card, VISA/Work Permit as required by German Law

- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and be adaptable.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in accordance with established procedures.
