What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Developmental Disability Aide position at Phoenix Facilitation of California LLC?
Please note: If you do not answer the questions associated with this ad, your application will not be considered.
The client is a 29-year-old female with a developmental disability and epilepsy. She and her family are looking for someone to support her at home and in the community (92626 area). The client requires 24/7 support and supervision, and shifts are available from 6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm, and 10:00pm-6:00am; 6-9 part-time positions (up to four days per week/32 hours per week) are currently available. You will be assisting the client with Activities of Daily Living and outings to lunch, local stores in the community, etc.
Due to the client’s disabilities, she receives funding from the Regional Center of Orange County (https://www.rcocdd.com/) to meet her needs and for this service and staff. She is part of the Self-Determination Program (https://www.rcocdd.com/client-services/self-determination/) which is why her family can select their own staff. You must be able to pass a LiveScan background check and have a driving record acceptable to the FMS to qualify for this position, as well as reliable transportation to be able to drive S. as needed.
