The Phoenix Warehousing Supervisor – Virginia is responsible for implementing Government property control. The Phoenix Warehousing Supervisor – Virginia will be located in Williamsburg, VA and will report to the Phoenix Manager – Virginia.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assumes responsibility for delivery of equipment to the preventive maintenance (PM) staging area, the depot staging area, the Repair Department, or the Special Projects area.
• Assumes responsibility for all shipping, receiving, and inventory control, by monitoring all receipts of Government material and verifying that it is properly handled and accounted for.
• Supervises the placing of Government property into the inventory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate.
• Five years of experience supervising other personnel in a warehousing-related field.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule department workload and assign personnel to accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee department safety programs and provide training and discipline, if necessary, for department personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure proper documentation and records are maintained, as required, for all maintenance and repair or other departmental activities; prepare reports on department work, orders parts and supplies; and approve requisitions and work orders; and provide inspection and quality control for assigned work.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with engineering, drafting, and other departments concerning in-progress and future projects.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check, as required.
