Seeking a motivated, Phoenix-metro area - Level II - IT Technician to join our dynamic team! You will provide remote and on-site assistance to a variety of managed service clients with their daily support, projects, maintenance, and improvements to their technology posture.

Position: Level II IT Support Staff - *Must live in Phoenix Metro Area.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware/software, networking, backup, infrastructure, WIFI, Servers, monitoring, patch management, and security.
  • Manage multiple aspects of customers' platforms.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Troubleshoot network & system issues and resolve for clients, via phone, remote, and in person.
  • Interact with managed clients via phone, email, and chat.
  • Document and maintain accurate inventory and asset management records.
  • Monitor active network, workstation, and server infrastructure.
  • Perform regular system and network maintenance, including backups, updates, firmware, and patches on equipment.
  • Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches.
  • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures.
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides.
  • Respond to and resolve customer issues/resolution/assets in a timely and professional manner using our PSA tool.
  • Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing. 
Requirements:
  • Must have 5 - 7 years of formal IT experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a system or network administrator is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and computer hardware.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Server, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with VoIP telephony systems a plus.
  • Reliable car/truck with valid insurance.
  • Frequently drive to client locations to perform in-person services, on the same day, or as needed.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt, prioritize and multitask in various environments.
  • Must be a self-starter, self-managed, and take ownership of any situation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Normal office hours, 7 AM - 6 PM but may require time outside office hours for projects or minimize customer downtime.
Physical Demands:
  • The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, reach, drive, and carry or move light furniture or technology components/periphery and use a ladder.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer monitor.

  • Add/change/delete user AD accounts.
  • Sites and services.

Windows server 2008 - 2021:
  • Shares
  • File/print operations

Workstations:
  • All MS applications
  • Must know outlook and how to set up user accounts
  • Domain functions
  • UNC Operations
Platforms - cloud / on-prem:

  • Office 365
  • Unifi
Printer / Scanners:
  • Driver updates / installation
  • Setup scan SMB / scan to email
Network:
  • Firm understanding of networks
  • Scopes / Masks
  • Public vs Private
  • How to setup back the network
  • Basic wire termination skills for CAT5 / CAT6
  • Run cable, terminate to patch/test/crimp cable
Software:
  • Any Microsoft core Office products
  • In-depth knowledge and use of Excel / Word/Outlook

Benefits:
  • Compensation - DOE $46,500 - $62,500 plus incentive pay
